Recent trip to NYC 

This is a wonderful 1902 postcard showing great detail of DC. The message said “I had a cold ride down this avenue in June.” (This obviously predates global warming). I scanned the original at 300 DPI, which is probably too rich for online but wanted to get as much detail out of it as possible. 

Washington DC, Columbia Heights Metro Station 

I bought this in an estate lot. It’s very old, perhaps back to 1895. It was a card that, I imagine, was given to patrons of this NYC entertainment venue. It’s exotic.

This is very good work. The B&W, coupled with the generic background, almost gives it a 1950s-60s feel to it. 

Three disconnected spirits, for a moment, share their different directions. 

The lights weren’t working on this Metro car but it was still in use.
